Colonel Devendra Singh Chauhan had taken over the charge of Registrar, CMKP, UP, Sainik School, Lucknow on 30 Jan 2024. The Officer is alumnus of Officer’s Training Academy, Chennai and got commissioned in Prestigious THE GRENADIERS Regiment in September 1997. The Officer is Post Graduate in Political Science and done his earlier schooling from Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh.The Officer has the distinction of holding various and coveted posts during Army Service and participated in various operations viz OP-RAKSHAK (J&K), OP-VIJAY, OP-MEGHDOOT etc. The Officer has also served as part of United Nation Peace Keeper in Lebanon. Prior to joining this School, the Officer was holding appointment as Administrative Officer, NCC in the West Bengal. The officer is having an acumen of Excellent Leadership and is providing yeoman services to Sainik School, Lucknow. In addition to his primary duties, the officer has been instrumental in initial functioning and set-up of Sainik School, Gorakhpur.
